Important information for international students

If you have any questions about entry requirements and the suitability of your qualifications, please contact your regional team.

Undergraduate - Year 1

For entry to most undergraduate courses, you must have completed one year of a Dyplom Bakalavr (Bachelor Degree) or Specialist Diploma depending on the programme you apply for.

If you have only completed a Ukrainian high school diploma you may be considered for our one-year International Foundation Programme. Students who successfully complete the one-year International Foundation at Middlesex will automatically progress onto a Middlesex degree.

As part of the application process, you will need to provide a letter of reference from an academic source and a personal statement.

Undergraduate - Year 2 & 3

If you have successfully passed at least one year's higher studies in a relevant subject area you may be able to enter directly onto the second or third year of one of our undergraduate degrees as a transfer student. We require 60 ECTS for entry to year two, and 120 ECTS for entry to year three. Acceptance is based on a curriculum match between your prior study and the syllabus at Middlesex.

You will need to provide a letter of reference from an academic source and a personal statement.

Postgraduate

For most postgraduate courses you must hold Диплом бакалавра (Bachelor degree) after 2007, Диплом спеціаліста (Specialist Diploma) - 3 or 4 out of 5. You will need to provide two letters of reference from academic sources and a personal statement.

You must also meet our standard English Language Requirements. If you don't meet one of our other accepted tests, we offer a Pre-sessional English course. PLEASE NOTE that we are offering FREE pre-sessional courses to students from Ukraine.

We understand that knowing how you’ll fund your studies as an international student is something you’ll want to tick off your list as soon as possible. We’ve got plenty of support on budgeting to help you get the most out of your money and your university experience.
