Biography
Louise has worked internationally as an award-winning Illustrator/Educator for 25+ years. Experienced working for a wide variety of commercial clients across publishing/design /advertising/editorial sectors and community/outreach groups and prestigious Universities. Working within different disciplines allows each to inform and enrich the other. Recent work “Expectations of the Past” (ACE) enabled her to move from a commercial background to one more authorial.Exhibitions were well received with much exposure press/TV /online. Louise presented a paper about this project at the 7th International Illustration Symposium Edinburgh. Louise enjoys working with hard-to-reach groups/individuals facing challenges who wouldn’t normally engage in workshops and visit galleries. Recently selected for Foundation Programme For Future London residency developing participatory workshops around sustainable/creative outdoor practice for audiences in urban spaces associated withcreative need. Regularly work collaboratively/across disciplines ona wide range of briefs and for those with diverse needs.
