Experiential learning (flipped classroom in particular); developing and enhancing graduates attributes; coaching and mentoring in higher education.


Current Teaching

Currently teaching financial accounting and management accounting to level 3 and 4 students. Taught advance financial accounting to level 5 students and taxation to level 6 students in the past. 


Biography

Agnes is an organic product of Middlesex University- she studied her BA Accounting and Finance there many moons ago, and she then gained a Master’s Degree in International Tax Law in King’s College London. Agnes is now a senior lecturer, she is also the programme leader for the BA Business Management (Finance) programme. Her interests focus primarily on teaching pedagogies that place students at the centre of the classroom where they play an active role in their learning and she is a keen advocator of flipped learning principles. Agnes’ dedication to professionalism in student learning and teaching has earned her Senior Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy in 2021 and she is currently supporting and mentoring colleagues to work towards the same recognition.
