Biography
My enthusiasm for the intricacies of Electronics led me to pursue a Master’s in Robotics. In 2019, I was honored with the Chevening Scholarship, enabling me to undertake my Master’s studies at the University of Bristol in the United Kingdom.
Before embarking on my Master’s journey, I dedicated four years to Pro-Five Ltd, a Mechanical and Electrical Consulting Firm, where I served as an MandE Consultant. This experience equipped me with invaluable leadership, management, and networking skills. Overseeing more than 75 construction projects in Rodrigues and Mauritius during this period, I learned to balance professional responsibilities with personal commitments, striving to excel both as a professional and as an individual.
Possessing a practical mindset, I demonstrate proficiency in handling figures and a deep understanding of my chosen field. I attribute my success to a strong work ethic, self-motivation, and organizational prowess. I consistently ensure that every task I undertake meets the required standards and satisfies all stakeholders. I firmly believe that my perseverance will propel me to achieve my aims and goals, no matter how challenging they may be.
Now back in Mauritius, I am dedicated to spearheading research in Robotics and applied Artificial Intelligence to prepare our island for the impending technological revolution. As a Lecturer at Middlesex University, I am actively introducing students to the exciting realm of Robotics.
My ultimate goal extends beyond positioning Mauritius as a premier tourist destination; I aspire to establish its reputation as a budding leader in Robotics and Artificial Intelligence.
