  • Biography

    Atish has worked as an academic within Higher Education in the UK since 2006. He has taught and examined a range of Accounting and Finance modules at undergraduate, postgraduate and professional levels.

    In 2022, he relocated to Mauritius, where he initially joined Middlesex as a part-time Lecturer in Accounting in that year and then switched to full-time in 2024. Prior to this, Atish worked as a Lecturer in Accounting at Curtin University, Mauritius. 

    In the UK, he was a Senior Lecturer in Accounting and Finance as well as the Director of Accounting Accreditation for Surrey Business School, University of Surrey, where he led on all aspects of accounting accreditation for the school.

    Atish's industry experience includes among others, his role as a Senior Manager, International Strategy and Business Planning. He has led on many projects working with government agencies, British and Foreign Embassies, Banking and Financial Services Institutions and Educational Institutions as a consultant to provide innovative LandD and capacity building solutions.

    Atish has an MBA with a specialism in Finance from Edinburgh Business School, Heriot-Watt University and is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
